Tasty chocolate kahlua Cheesecake
Today let's look into the recipe of chocolate kahlua cheesecake.
CHOCOLATE KAHLUA CHEESECAKE
Filling
1¼ pounds (570g) cream cheese, room temperature
¼ cup(60g)sugar
5 egg yolks
¾cup(150ml) sour cream
3 tablespoons(45ml) kahlua
Remaining mud cake icing
Dark chocolate chantilly
¼cup(60ml) heavy cream
¼cup(60ml) dark chocolate sauce (purchased)
Garnish
8 chocolate butterflies (purchased)
Method
Preheat oven to 400°F or 200°C
In a mixing bowl, mix cream cheese and sugar and beat at medium speed, occasionally scraping down the sides of the bowl until fully mixed.
Switch speed to low and add egg yolks one at a time until fully mixed. Add sour cream, kahlua and cold mud cake icing. Mix well. Pour mixture into prepared individual molds. Bake for 45 minutes or until edges are set and center is firm.
Remove cheesecakes from oven and let cool. Cover with a plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
In a small mixing bowl over high speed, beat heavy cream until it forms soft peaks. Fold in chocolate sauce and refrigerate.
Before serving, finish each kahlua cheesecake by piping dark chocolate chantilly atop cakes in the form of a rosette and garnish with a chocolate butterfly.
